Abstract

This set of audio recordings features Kaska phrases focused on preparing and mixing soapberry ice cream and is part of Lesson 1: Making Soapberry Ice Cream from the Kaska Language Website. Learners can follow along with Audio Parts 1–7 using the Lesson 1 “Instructional Materials” and “Worksheets” items. The Kaska Language Website, which includes over 150 Kaska language lessons, was developed in part by the Liard First Nation Language Department with financial support from the Department of Canadian Heritage.
