shaughnessy was once vancouvers most exclusive neighbourhood. however, in the last 100 years, shaughnessy changed. this archive examines how small and unassumimg projects can attempt to change a neighbourhood for the better. by focsing on small manageable changes, shaghnessy has managed to create a compelling urban strategy that eclipses the large masterplanned moves that have largely failed around vancouver. using the archive as a tool for investigation, shaughnessyland focuses on examining the histories of the interventions, and through that finding out about the people and place of shaughnessy.
