Una “vistosa eccezione”: Girolamo Comi poeta orfico

Abstract

Placing the figure of Girolamo Comi in the poetry of the Twentieth Century still seem a complex and almost prohibitive operation. The eccentric lyricism and poetics, is a cosolidated fact and almost a commonplace for critics, even for those most involved. More than with the lyric-elegiac lament, his poetic work is in tune with the hymn or prayer, used to sing the light and the Origin, the mysterious contiguity between man, God and nature, the fullness and totality of being. Thisbrief contribution would like to constitute a preliminary to test the resilience and relevance of Comi’s poetry in contex of twentieth- century poetry.
