To gain a greater understanding of the theory of transparency in Architecture, I propose an undergraduate dissertation paper which will examine the fundamental characteristics behind the evolution of transparency. I will further examine the notions of prospect and setting and the diaphanous interfaces in relation to the idea of privacy in suburbia. This dissertation paper will examine these theories of transparency through both international and local case studies.
