Abstract

Fiber placed in periodontal pockets to deliver tetracycline continuously for 10 days was effective in reducing pocket depth and bleeding on probing when used as an adjunct to scaling and root planing. In this study, the combined therapy was valuable in treating adult patients who had refractory disease sites.
