All phases of dentistry performed in the normal patient may be performed in the hemophiliac with similar dental problems. Extreme care and meticulous skill will help prevent avoidable injury to soft tissue. Preventive dentistry should be taught and encouraged. Consultation with the patient’s physician should proceed any treatment, and the cooperation between the physician and dentist will allow the hemophiliac to seek dental treatment with confidence.
