Beneficios educativos y videojuegos: revisión de la literatura española

Abstract

El presente estudio aborda la revisión bibliográfica realizada en España dentro del ámbito educativo sobre los videojuegos y sus beneficios. El periodo de tiempo analizado abarca los años 2013 – 2017, ambos incluidos. Los beneficios encontrados en esta consulta comprenden diversas perspectivas: facilitar la alfabetización digital, nuevas propuestas educativas, su uso en diferentes colectivos, como los adultos o los alumnos con dificultades, mejora en diferentes aptitudes … La mayoría de los artículos inciden en la motivación como una ventaja del uso de los videojuegos, destacando también el estímulo de las inteligencias múltiples y la creatividad. Los videojuegos comerciales más citados en la bibliografía consultada son los pertenecientes a la saga Assasin`s Creed, el juego del rol online multijugador World of Warcraft y el juego creativo Minecraft, un sandbox con infinitas posibilidades.
