Attraverso il principio di neutralità si critica il legal enforcement of morals ove il principio del danno risultasse un’arma spuntata. Si suggerisce quindi, riproponendo lo spirito (se non la forma) delle conclusioni di Hart, che il liberalismo neutralista può essere una strategia significativa contro il legal enforcement of morals; ed è con questo obiettivo che se ne approfondiscono gli assi portanti, mostrandone la plausibilità, in generale e in riferimento alla questione dell’aborto.
