Abstract

Il presente contributo, considera la relazione d’aiuto tra l’operatore socio sani-tario e l’utente in un contesto quale la residenza sanitaria assistenziale. La ricerca mostra che gli O.S.S. del campione considerato ritengono che nella relazione ope-ratore-utente siano utili sia la comprensione empatica che la comunicazione asser-tiva. Lo stile relazionale assertivo, rispetto allo stile relazionale empatico, puo e-sporre al conflitto. La soddisfazione in ambito lavorativo risulta correlata con la misura di empatia e con la percezione di autoefficacia. Il contributo si propone di evidenziare, attraverso una parziale lettura dei fabbisogni formativi derivanti dalla necessita di riuscire a gestire efficacemente la relazione d’aiuto, l’importanza della formazione continua per sviluppare negli operatori tratti e competenze relazionali specifiche.
