Abstract

The excavations in Cantiere 2 have made it possible to reconstruct the development of this area on the periphery of the settlement closely connected to the port. The abundance of the pottery and the importance of the structures found throw light on the transformation of this sector of the city, and its context in the general evolution of Otranto, between the Late Republic and Late Antiquity.

Keywords
