La Teogonia esiodea e quella ciclica : competizione narrativa e tradizioni rapsodiche

Abstract

La Teogonia esiodea trasmessa dalla tradizione manoscritta non era l'unica circolante nell'antichità sotto il nome di Esiodo: almeno un'altra portava questa etichetta autoriale anche se non fu inclusa nel corpus Hesiodeum. Questa seconda Teogonia esiodea confluì probabilmente in un'altra tradizione di canto epico, quella del Ciclo, costituendo probabilmente la base narrativa dell'esordio teogonico della saga.
