The enunciations of restoration underline a substantial convergence in the recognition of the respect for the historical and critical process of the architecture and the insertions of the new, or rather, of the contemporary for functional adaptation. An appropriate use with favour conservation; an inappropriate or ill-conceived adaptive use may cause degradation, undesinable changes or demolition. The rediscovery and the conservation of values is one of the major issuey of our society; one should endeavour not to indulge only in commercialization and facilities, but to transmit to young people the passion and respect for the memory and the past, so that it be bequeathed to posterity.
