Abstract

La nuova consapevolezza storica che si sviluppa tra gli Umanisti tra Quattro e Cinquecento (F. Villani, G Gelli, Anonimo Gaddiano, Paolo Giovio), coinvolge anche alcuni artisti (quali L.B. Alberti, L. Ghiberti, L. da Vinci) nella riflessione sulla rinascita della pittura, grazie a Giotto, e alla centrialità di Fiorenze, nuova Atene del Rinascimento.
