Les désinences modales en berbère

Abstract

En berbere, il existe un certain nombre de desinences et de clitiques post-verbaux qui sont restreints a un emploi modal. Ceci ne veut pas dire que toutes les nuances modales sont exprimees par un jeu de desinences speciales: au contraire, la signification tres souvent modale de la forme non-reelle ad + aoriste est exprimee dans la plupart des dialectes par les desinences 'normales' du verbe. Dans ce qui suit, nous distinguerons plusieurs types de desinences et clitiques verbaux. Les desinences de la deuxieme personne seront appelees imperatifs, les desinences de la premiere personne cohortatifs. L'element appele injonctif est employe avec les premieres et troisiemes personnes.
