From Hybrid Fiber Coax to All-Fiber Networks

Abstract

Cable operators have many options to increase throughput as they progress towards an all-fiber network, including migrating from analog to digital video, increasing compression, using advanced modulation, allocating more upstream spectrum and pushing fiber deeper.
