Summary: Calculation of the universal enveloping TROs of continuous \(JBW^*\)-triples, and application of the techniques used to supplement some structural results of \textit{Z.-J. Ruan} [Can. J. Math. 56, No. 4, 843--870 (2004; Zbl 1078.46042)] for \(W^*\)-TROs.
