Abstract

"Anamnesis XVI":Part of a poem-series mediating accumulating embodiment in the face of family illness and state violence through a documentary and incantatory compositional imperative. This poem is specific to the cradle-to-grave crisis in the United States, circa 2013–16. "Anamnesis XVII”: Part of a poem-series mediating accumulating embodiment in the face of family illness and state violence through a documentary and incantatory compositional imperative. This poem written while walking along the international border-wall in Nogales, AZ. “Anamnesis XVIII”: Part of a poem-series mediating accumulating embodiment in the face of family illness and state violence through a documentary and incantatory compositional imperative. This poem written while walking along the international border-wall in Nogales, AZ and throughout the U.S. side of that city, influenced by a Yoeme street-dance protest against state violence in Mexico concerning the missing students of Ayotzinapa.
