Desde hace algunas décadas, pensadoras feministas como Luce Irigaray, Luisa Muraro o Rosi Braidotti —entre otras— han intentado reconstruir los supuestos ontológicos de un lenguaje independiente de la lógica abstracta falogocéntrica, que emergiera por mediación metonímica del sustrato materno-material-matricial, en continuidad esencial con ese origen y en conexión inmediata con la vida. En el marco de esta nueva simbólica materna-material-matricial, el presente artículo se propone leer la poética mistraliana, concebida y alimentada por esa misma matriz de la que nace la vida.
