La mobilitasion antimafia de 1992

Abstract

Questo articolo analizza la mobilitazione antimafia del 1992 cercando di vedere in quale misura gli assassini di Falcone e Borsellino rappresentino dei traumi collettivi che inducono una "discontinuità storica" nel rapporto tra parte della società e i rappresentanti politici ma anche nell'impegno civile. Vengono messi in luce gli elementi che mettono a repentaglio il rapporto tra parte della società civile e i rappresentanti politici che, nel torpido clima dell'operazione Mani Pulite, perdono la legittimità morale. Sono in seguito analizzate le nuove forme di mobilitazione civile sviluppate dopo le stragi di Capaci e via d'Amelio, iniziative che rinnovano l'impegno cittadino e il repertorio di azione collettiva finora usato dai militanti antimafia. Infine, vengono messi in evidenza i meccanismi di transfert di legittimità che consentono alla magistratura, attraverso le figure di Falcone e Borsellino, di incarnare il modello dell'etica pubblica.
