NOZZLE SPRAY PERFORMANCE ANALYSER

Abstract

Computational fluid dynamics is a powerful tool for understanding and controlling complex processes and instruments involving fluids flow towards a sustainable development in Agrochemical and Bio-product Application Technology. An instrument known as the nozzle spray performance analyser helps to determine the process nature of the differences caused by spray liquid properties and to relate the effects to spray drifts and depositions on grains. The analyser helps to highlight the influence of the physical properties of spray liquid on droplet sizes, chemical formulation, spray movements and flow rates. The mathematical model of the sprayer performance helps to determine the efficiency of agro-chemical use and reduction of spray drifts.
