We've all seen the terrible images of war and violence from around the world on our television screens and in newspapers. Sometimes the horror can seem a long way from our daily experiences of working with young children. But this may not always be the case. Young children whose families have been caught up in conflict may well arrive in the UK as refugees looking for a place of safety.
