Abstract

In recent months much has been said and written about preregistration nurse education. We have only just come to grips with the new ‘fitness for practice’ curriculum but are already moving on to debating the options outlined in the Nursing and Midwifery Council's Fitness for Practice and Purpose document (UKCC, 2001).
