Safevi-Osmanli Iliskilerinde Dogu Anadolu Meselesi (Ekonomik Yönden)

Abstract

Bu makalede Safevi-Osmanli iliskilerinde en onemli rekabet konularindan olan Dogu Anadolu’nun ekonomik yonden oneminden bahsedilmektedir. Sozkonusu bolgede sahiplik ugrunda Safeviler’le Osmanlilar arasinda bas vermis karsidurmalar, sonunda Caldiran savasina (23 Agustos 1514) neden olmustur. Bundan sonra Dogu Anadolu tamamen Osmanli Imparatorlugunun yonetimi altina girmistir. Fakat bununla yetinmeyen Osmanli, Dogu ticaretinin tamamina sahip olmak icin Safevi devletini ortadan kaldirmaya karar vermistir. Burada XVI. yuzyilda buyuk ticari imparatorluga donusen Osmanlinin Dogu’ya taraf genislenmesinden bahsedilmektedir.
