Due to the geographical situation his residents were exposed to the influence of the communist propaganda as well as could be susceptible to other negative behaviours resulting from the closeness border. At the same time the dominance of the Ukrainian population could give rise in this community to postures of the defiance, whether give fights against the Polish statehood. The political preferences of residents of the district were partly dependent on the politics of the authorities of the state, the both central and provincial or district rank and the effectiveness influences of political groups (in it also of the ones which acted illegally).
