A case is reported illustrating the well-defined but rare syndrome of renovascular neurofibromatosis, with hypertension occurring in early life. The diagnostic importance of aortography is stressed. We are grateful to Dr. D. W. Barritt, United Bristol Hospitals, and Professor W. S. Peart, St. Mary's Hospital, London, W.2, for access to their clinical notes, to Dr. Cardy, Melksham, for post-operative clinical details, and Mr. H. Freundlich, Bristol General Hospital, for help with translation.
