Abstract

Abstract This paper is concerned with the theoretical derivation of the linear relationship between enthalpy and entropy for pressure change in chemical equilibria, and its application to the dissociation equilibria of some 4-substituted 1-methylpyridinium iodides in water–ethanol mixture. The isoequilibrium temperature, \barβ, for this system was derived to be 322 K.
