Abstract

Abstract The zero-field energy levels in neardoubly-degenerate triplet states are discussed on molecules which are distorted so as to lose their trigonal symmetry axes. As an example, the second excited triplet states of a deformed benzene molecule are calculated from the electron spin-spin interactions.
