Abstract The stability constants of nickel(II) complexes in 1 mol dm−3 sodium perchlorate media were determined at 25 °C by means of a solvent extraction method. The values thus obtained for logβ1 and logβ2 are: 0.0 and no second complex (Cl−), 1.1 and 1.6 (SCN−), 1.0 and 1.4 (SO42−), 0.9 and 1.3 (S2O32−), and 3.7 and 6.6 (C2O42−), respectively.
