We report a woman with four episodes of Bell's palsy. Usual symptoms of idiopathic unilateral facial paralysis include subacute facial palsy, hyperacusis on the affected side, postauricular pain on the affected side, altered sensation of taste, and partial trigeminal distribution hypesthesias. Complete resolution of symptoms is usually seen within 2 months in 70% of cases, with 30% showing varying degrees of residual effects.
