Application of seismic sedimentology in turbidite fan's study

Abstract

Seismic sedimentology has good discipline advantage for study on complex lithology reservoir. The technology of ninety-degree phasing, the determination of isochronal sedimentary plane and the analysis of seismic attribute phase play important roles on study of sedimentary micro-facies and presently are recognized the core technology of seismic sedimentology study. Combinated micro-facies study, using phase-controlled reservoir prediction technique determines the form of lithologic trap, which can provide basic geological basis for final target of favorable well place.
