Reduction mammaplasty is one of the most common procedures in plastic surgery.1 Patient satisfaction is correlated with the aesthetic result, which in turn is highly dependent on placement of proper preoperative markings. These markings are critical for the success of the procedure but are subject to various measurement errors. As a result, postoperative nipple asymmetry is common.
