Market researchers analyzing underdeveloped countries’ markets have limited data sources at their disposal. There are many of these markets, but their total potential is relatively small. A need exists to describe and analyze these markets despite the data limitations. This article indicates techniques that may be useful in doing the job without the analyst incurring inordinate expense.
