O ARTIGO TEM POR OBJETIVO DISCUTIR OS CONCEITOS DE LITERATURA NEGRA E AFRO-BRASILEIRA, APRESENTANDO OS RUMOS DESA LITERATURA INICIADA COM A EMERGÊNCIA DE UM EU ENUNCIADOR QUE SE QUER NEGRO NA POESIA, DESDE O SÉCULO XIX, COM LU ÍS GAMA, ATÉ OS DIAS DE HOJE, EM QUE SE VERIFICAM DUAS TENDÊNCIAS DE CONSTRUÇÃO IDENTITÁRIA: O ENRAIZAMENTO (RAIZ ÚNICA) E O ENRAIZAMENTO RELACIONAL E DINÂMICO (RIZOMA), DESTACANDO-SE AINDA A SIGNIFICATIVA PRESENÇA DA POESIA NEGRA NO FEMININO.
