Abstract

Esta publicación tiene por objeto analizar desde una óptica contable la aplicación de la NIC 41 y realizar una comparación de los procesos de transformación de los activos biológicos en una realidad avícola panameña y una chilena. El ciclo productivo avícola, específicamente del pollo, comprende crianza, fecundación, incubación y engorde y su relación con la medición, valorización, revelación y presentación en los estados financieros de los activos biológicos avícolas bajo la normativa internacional NIC 41, que trata el tema de la agricultura y la gestión en sus procesos biológicos. El objetivo es proponer una metodología de valorización de activos biológicos avícolas, la cual permitirá contar con un sistema de medición y valorización de dichos recursos aplicando criterios establecidos en la NIC 41.
