Abstract

Se sobreviene un proceso de licitación de las cuotas individuales de pesca, lo que más conviene es la perpetuidad de ellas. Hasta el año 2000 la pesca industrial chilena era un ejemplo de máxima ineficiencia económica. Regía protección ambiental con límites máximos de captura, pero el proceso de pesca era completamente antieconómico. Las empresas se apuraban para pescar lo más posible antes de que se agotara la cuota global anual, para lo cual necesitaban muchos barcos. Continuar leyendo...
