Angiotensin was investigated as a pharmacoangiographic agent in 80 patients, employing selective catheterization of various arteries. The diagnostic value of angiography was improved in about 70% of cases. This improvement usually consisted of enhanced filling of smaller arteries with a higher concentration of contrast material. In 3 cases, newly-formed tumor vessels could be demonstrated only with the aid of angiotensin.
