Abstract

In this article the author, a vice president and the Chief Internet Evangelist at the technology company Google, goes into detail about and advocates for the Internet of Medical Things;which describes medical devices and practices that use real-time monitoring and diagnosis through the Internet These include but are not limited to pacemakers, defibrillators, and videoconferencing The entire subject is examined through the lens of the 2020 Coronavirus / Covid-19 outbreak, which has prevented many from seeing their doctors in person
