One missing point in the current research about p2p XML databases is the definition of a proper query algebra that addresses p2p -specific issues, such as the dissemination and replication of data, the dynamic nature of the system, and the transient nature of data and replicas. This paper describes a query algebra for queries over XML p2p databases that provides explicit mechanisms for modeling data dissemination and replication constraints.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 3 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
