A primary standard of mutual inductance of the Campbell type has been constructed by the National Research Council to serve as an ultimate standard of reference for electrical quantities in Canada. The electrical value is computed from its measured physical dimensions. A detailed description is warranted in view of its national importance. The value of the standard is 0.010,007,24s henry with an error not larger than 13 p.p.m.
