Genetic analysis detected three genes that are involved in the formation of various flavonol glycosides in the leaves of soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merrill). Eight flavonol classes were observed with each gene showing dominance for glycoside formation. The gene symbols Fg1and fg1, Fg2and fg2, and Fg3and fg3are proposed.
