ANOMALOUS FLORAL ORGANIZATION IN POPULUS TREMULOIDES

Abstract

Two types of abnormalities are reported within this normally dioecious species—monoecious stems and polyamomonoecious stems. Differences were found in number of capsules per ament, size of capsule, and weight of seed between monoecious stems and normal dioecious stems from a nearby grove.
