This paper deals with embedded pseudo-Runge-Kutta methods and their use in step size control without additional function evaluations. There is a report on results of a number of numerical experiments.
Multistep, Runge-Kutta and extrapolation methods for ordinary differential equations, embedded pseudo-Runge-Kutta methods, Mesh generation, refinement, and adaptive methods for ordinary differential equations, Nonlinear ordinary differential equations and systems, numerical experiments, Numerical methods for initial value problems involving ordinary differential equations, step size control, Error bounds for numerical methods for ordinary differential equations

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 3 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 1% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
