WE would like to inform colleagues of some recent information about Schmallenberg virus (SBV) obtained from veterinarians in south Wales. Questionnaires on vets'experience of disease attributed to SBV were completed by veterinarians from 23 practices at a meeting on this subject, hosted by the AHVLA, the Welsh Government and the BVA, at the AHVLA Surveillance Centre in Carmarthen on February 7, 2013.Respondents represented most of the farm practices in mid- and south Wales.
