Abstract

AFTER the amazement of receiving an e-mail from the BVA informing me that it and the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA) had agreed with the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency (AHVLA) that we veterinary surgeons involved in TB testing would perform the DNA sampling of TB reactors for the princely sum of nothing, I communicated by e-mail with the President of the BVA to express my concerns about the matter.
