Abstract

Psoroptes ovis-infested sheep, examination of skin samples (frozen sections by light microscopy and freeze fractured material by scanning electron microscopy) reveals no evidence such as embedded mite mouthparts, localized tissue damage tracts, or cellular infiltrations to support opinion that mite penetrates deeper than outermost loose stratum corneum
