Exclusion criteria included: schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, non-bipolar psychotic disorder, opioid or cocaine dependence or current use of intravenous drugs, epilepsy or history of organic brain syndrome or brain injury, unstable medical conditions, and elevated liver enzymes.
