Abstract

I wrote in my diary five years after the end of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, “The truth is that I still have nightmares, and I dream of piles of bodies and blood and all the worst things that I have seen.” With time, those memories have silted over, and now I am more likely to dream of mundane things.⇑ I am fascinated by the promotional images for the 2012 Paralympics.
