Abstract

The present review is devoted to the analysis of literary and the author’s own data on the questing behavior of larvae, nymphs, and adult ticks in the main genera of the family Ixodidae. The evolutionary trends in the questing behavior of hard ticks and the role of immature stages in this process are discussed.
