Vibration isolation arrangement

Abstract

Un agencement anti-vibratoire, par exemple pour supporter un brancard dans une ambulance, comporte un levier (16) qui s'etend entre une structure de base (6) et un cadre de support (4). An anti-vibratory arrangement, for example for supporting a stretcher in an ambulance, comprises a lever (16) which extends between a base structure (6) and a support frame (4). Le levier (16) peut pivoter autour d'un point d'appui (30) et est soumis a l'action d'un ressort (28). The lever (16) is pivotable about a fulcrum (30) and is subjected to the action of a spring (28). Le point d'appui (30) est deplacable par l'actuateur (32) le long d'un guide (34). The fulcrum (30) is movable by the actuator (32) along a guide (34). Un tel deplacement non seulement fait varier la contrainte exercee par le ressort (28), mais egalement modifie le bras de moment (h) entre le ressort (28) et le point d'appui (30). Such movement not only varies the stress exerted by the spring (28), but also changes the moment arm (h) between the spring (28) and the fulcrum (30). Lorsque l'on souleve le cadre de support (4) a un niveau predetermine, le mecanisme s'adapte automatiquement a la charge sur ledit cadre de support afin d'assurer au systeme une frequence naturelle constante, quelque soit le poids du patient transporte. When one raises the support frame (4) to a predetermined level, the mechanism automatically adjusts to the load on said support frame to provide the system with a constant natural frequency, whatever the weight of the transported patient.
