Effect of Painting on the Sound Absorption of Acoustic Materials
A brief discussion is given of the properties of a material which cause it to absorb sound. Photographs are shown and the results of sound absorption measurements before and after painting are given for a number of different types of material. A brief discussion is given of the kind of paint which can be used and how it should be applied.
